Don't go in there!:
Mike Licitra, the owner and lead mechanic is one of the best in the business! I highly recommend him! Customer service of any kind stops after that point.
His very rude and condescending wife Mary, runs the front office and is a complete and total tyrant and control freak! She is unreasonable beyond words and IMPOSSIBLE to deal with in any manner! After being a loyal customer for approximately 20 years, I completely severed any and all ties with them solely because of her and her incomprehensible, p@!s poor attitude!
They had my car for 4 days and when I went in to see if it was done, the first words out of her mouth were: "Did I call you and tell you it was done?!" The car was supposed to have been fixed the day before I showed up. Come to find out, the parts were never ordered due to an apparent mix-up with their own parts distributor, according to her. After telling her to forget about the repair, and telling her to remove any and all of my information in their system, she went totally ballistic!! She swore like a truck driver, called me every name in the book, and even made accusations about my "sexual preference!" She was one step away from a "slander and defamation of character" lawsuit! She aimlessly went looking for her husband, Mike so I could tell him myself how I felt about the situation. She was unsuccessful in locating him! At this point, she refused to give me the keys to my car back until he returned. I told her right then and there that I was going to take my car back which was untouched, and was located in the exact same spot it had been sitting in for past 4 days! I also told her she could call the sheriff if she wanted to, because I was absolutely through with her theatrics and wasn't going to wait around any longer! Still in a rant, and continuing to cuss me out up one side and down the other, she finally took my $95.00 "diagnostic fee," printed up a receipt, and told me she never wanted to see me again, as I was walking out the door! Her antics were unbelievable, and not something you would expect from a supposed "Good Christian" woman.
If you are ever contemplating becoming a potential customer of SANTA CLARITA VALLEY AUTO SPECIALIST, and you have the patience and tolerance for this kind of treatment and abuse, then by all means enter that front door and hold onto your hat! You are in for the experience of a lifetime, and not one you will ever want to repeat!
