When to Go: Late night, when hipsters and music lovers crowd the bar. This hotspot doesn’t wait until the weekend to party: Djs spin until the wee hours nightly.

This place seemed like a trendy restaurant but the food was way too overpriced. The food was good (not great) and was not worth the cost.

The ambiance seems like it is meant to be more romantic (*very* dark) but it was extremely loud so how could you talk/listen to your date unless you are shouting at him/her???

They were accomodating to our group of 7, but stuck us in a dark back corner. The food was okay, but pricy for the quality. You're really paying more for the atmosphere. I recommend the oyster shooter in a fascinating kimchee gelee ($1). There's a decent selection of sake, dim lighting, etc.

Saucebox is equal parts restaurant and dance club. DJs play live programs every weekend, but on any weeknight loud house music infuses every corner, and its location bordering the late-night Old Town club district makes it a good stop before, after, or as part of a club tour.
