Horrible experience saving a stray cat, ebony!:
Please consider asking the administrator at SAVE A PET, GRAYSLAKE, IL, why we, a donating public, can not visit the stray cat, a sweet Havana Brown cat we named Ebony, we brought to them! Can you believe it?

I've had a terrible interaction with SAVE A PET, Grayslake, IL, administrator, Ms. Nedza -VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER when she first approached me (February) and introduced herself as I was brushing Ebony. During those few weeks, it was our joy to bring the staff cookies, White Castle, coffee cakes and thought that they deserved treats for their hard work. And then, I'd go in and sit and brush little Ebony, who we nurtured through sickness and an FIV+ diagnosis. We brought to them in hopes he'd be adopted out and PAWS CHICAGO had a year wait list and previously, we've placed strays through PAWS CHICAGO with wonderful relationship and result. But PAWS' waiting list for their FIV room was at least a year.

We've been giving money the 2 months Ebony has been there and did not expect such mean-spiritedness. Ms. Nedza introduced herself by laying down the rules that I'd have to go through "training", and I agreed - NO problem. NOW, it is apparent that Ms. Nedza was putting up hurdles and barriers to keep us out of their "volunteer training"; (offered only in the evenings, way out in Grayslake and I can't get there during those hours - she knows this!) !!!! I did go in one morning for "training" and both I and the trainer realized that I should just simply "visit" with a supervisor - Ms. Nedza was not having that either. The next thing I know, is that they banned me from even stepping foot into the facility to visit Ebony...BANNED LIKE..POLICE WOULD BE CALLED!

WHAT ARE THEY HIDING? This behavior is not acceptable or in line with the situation. Please do help find out how my Ebony is and WHY THEY ARE ALLOWED TO BULLY those who bring in stray animals and donors in the community? Did they kill Ebony or is he adopted now? WTH?

Much thanks for any and all help,
