Comfort in our time of need:
I have attended many funerals at Sax-Tiedemann in my 29 years, but last week was the first time I had to make decisions for one. The home has always been clean, with a comforting atmosphere. We were greeted with friendly and sincere condolences and ushered into the office, where we met with Steve Dawson. He sat with us, listened to our wishes, our stories, and made the time for us. We didn't feel rushed through it, or pressured in any way.
Steve went above and beyond to not only see that our needs were met and that we were happy with our decisions, but that we stayed within our budget. In these trying times, being completely unprepared for such a sudden loss can often mean having to cut corners. We didn't have to, and everything was perfect.
Beyond perfect, actually. I am still overwhelmed by the kindness, compassion and sincerity we experienced with Sax-Tiedemann, and with Steve especially. I will not soon forget how he took care of us. Given the nature of the business, I don't exactly want to say that I'm "eager" to do business with them again (insert wink and nudge here, if you will), but I know that when the time comes, there is nowhere else I would consider.
