Schlumpf USA was incorporated in 1992 as a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Schlumpf AG of Switzerland,
which itself dates back to 1886.
Schlumpf AG is now owned by the
fourth generation of the Schlumpf family.
A majority interest in Schlumpf USA was sold to
Chris van Haasteren, Schlumpf USA’s CEO,
at the end of 2009 following the death of
Hans Peter Schlumpf, our leader of many years.
