I had a very negative experience at the Seaport Yarn Store. They were the most horrible store I have ever been to in my lifetime. They are the rudest people i have ever encountered. They just dont know how to treat others with the minimal respect and more so anyone who is coming to buy things in their store. This is the most cluttered disorganized store that I have been to and this is also very very expensive store. No proper labelling, classification indicative of the price quality or anything.
I had called them up for directions .. they were really rude on the phone. i should have got the message then and not gone into the store at all. the store was hard to find.. seeing that i was a foreigner out of new york they made sure they were at their rudest best. The owner slams doors and screams at people.
I would strongly urge you not to go there if you have any respect for yourself. The owner lambasted us for asking her employee for directions to our next destination. I think she needs to get herself psychiatric help

One person's opinion: BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE:
In my opinion, Andrea has very poor customer service relations. I had a very negative experience here recently. I had been a loyal customer for several years (spending lots of $) until I attempted to exchange (not return) sale yarn while sale was still going on. I made an honest mistake in misunderstanding the policy and did not ask for special treatment, but would have appreciated an accommodation. I didn't receive it, which is the store's prerogative, but on top of that, I felt that I was treated rudely.

This place has a weird vibe and is very disorganized. Many, many superior yarn stores around. Again, my opinion only, but I will not be returning. Guess no small business needs repeat customers.
