NEVER AGAIN will be ripped off by, Dave!!:
Don't fall for the PRIVATE 2 room suite! Doesn't even have a door on the bedroom so not sure how this can be considered private and romantic?!?!?! Letter I sent to Dave as follows.

Dave,
I do apologize for our deciding not to stay as we checked in but for our Anniversary we really counted on the 'PRIVATE' two room suite as it stated on your website. We have never stayed anywhere before without a door on the bedroom therefore I simply didn’t feel the need to ask when reserving. Even though we've been married 30 years I still feel a door on our bedroom is an absolute must for privacy. So far all the couples old and young I've shared this story with have agreed with me 100%. Not to mention that we felt like we had to whisper and not talk freely as you were in your office where your phone rings just at the base of the stairs directly off the suite bedroom. This made for a very uncomfortable and not private situation. Too, with Ray being allergic to cats it does affect his breathing and his eyes become swollen and irritated. In the several conversations we had this was never shared with me that a 'not so friendly' cat basically roams and lounges in the two room suite area and there isn't a door to keep any animals out or I would have never made these reservations to begin with or asked if you had anything more private. To top it off while the cat was laying in the chair in the pool table room you told us to just swat the cat away with a big pillow and I asked, "Why…aren’t you able to pick him up and is he mean?" You then commented, “Well, he can be kind of funny.” I then immediately replied, “No thanks, if we have to use a pillow to swat him out of here I would prefer that you take care of him.” Then we witnessed exactly why you suggested using a pillow. When you swatted at him he was not a nice cat. Then he only got down to walk out of that room and jumped up on the bed we were to sleep in that night and got comfortable. Dander from cats is what those who are allergic suffer from. Your cat being all through the house and on the suite bed even though you cleaned earlier simply would not have taken care of this problem. Then as we left I asked my husband if you were serious about putting one log in your big built in stone fire place? You stated you would get us another log for our next night and that the previous guest must have used extra? What? One log can hardly constitute a warm, roaring crackling romantic fire let alone justify your beautiful fire place. We have never used just one log in yet a smaller fireplace.

Your website information was very misleading and feel it falsely advertises your two room suite as it was by no means PRIVATE nor romantic. Not to mention putting the refrigerator and microwave in the bathroom. I have never seen a refrigerator or microwave in a bathroom. Doesn't this violate some kind of health code regulation?

I've worked in customer service for 35+ years and we as customers are very disappointed. Feel that you charging us what we agreed upon for the full 2 nights (165 first night and 100 the second) and being at your place for the 10 minutes it took us to discover things were not as they were suppose to be is 100% wrong and bad business practice among other things. We realize your website requests a 2 week notice to cancel for a refund. We did NOT cancel. We showed up to find that the accommodations were not as stated on your website.

My husband called and left you a voicemail yesterday, 3/22/17 at approximately 9:30 a.m. and asked for a return call. We have not yet heard back from you and we are requesting a refund. Please contact us to discuss this issue.

Respectfully,
