Shepherd's Flock Child Care Center is a full-time, year-round, licensed childcare facility located within the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights, IL. Since 1997, we have been pleased to offer our community an enrichment program for children aged six weeks to six years. Our Christian and family-focused programming provides weekday, age-specific lessons and interactive play that encourage children to develop at their own pace while promoting positive self-esteem. Children at Shepherd's Flock enjoy and choose from a variety of offerings including: Indoor and outdoor play Community events Off-campus outings Art and music Stories and games Small and large motor skills Our fun and interesting curriculum emphasizes spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical development. Shepherd's Flock's staff-designed lesson plans are designed to introduce children to a variety of concepts, from sensory experiences to math and science. Our unique inter-generational program enables Lutheran Home Residents and Shepherd's Flock children to interact through an array of daily activities and special events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and 4th of July parade. Through visits to pumpkin farms, collaborative art projects and more, our little ones and grandmas and grandpas, as they are called, enjoy special bonds.
