The Shining Star was opened and operated in 1998 by Tony Plante and was the first legal tattoo studio on the north shore. Our loyal and main tattoo artist is Paul Teves who is an expert in freehand and also in portraits. Josh Kanter is also an expert in body piercing. Our friendly staff, including the manager Charleen, will assist you with your tattoo and piercing decisions and needs.
