Crowded, small, some good dishes.:
Good luck finding parking in this overcrowded lot. Then you have to write your name on a sheet of paper and wait for a table. Is it worth the wait? Depends on what you order.
They are famous for two things - chinese sausage and shaved ice. Personally, I think the shaved ice is above average, and the chinese sausage is quite good. The rest of the entrees are hit or miss, depending on what you're expecting. I tried the noodles with minced pork; noodles and pork were decent, but the sauce was clearly some canned thing that didn't have much zing and was way too sweet. The broiled eel over rice was much better - it comes with brocolli, canned corn and scrambled eggs. Overall a much better combination (about $8) but for some reason the canned veggies didn't bother me as much. The brocolli did appear to be fresh, and the eel and rice were definitely well prepared and tasty.
So go early, have lowered expectations, and while you're waiting, watch what other people order through the windows. You'll do better that way.
