The Extras: Lockers, rafts and water tubes are available for rent. Rafts are required for some rides, and a double tube can keep the kids close.

When to Go: Locals know that Super Bowl Sunday is the best day for an outing. Hardly any people show, so you practically have the park to yourself. Expect long lines and sweltering weather during summer.
