1) Midtown: Opening July 1 in Atlantic Station is Chick-a-Biddy, the new restaurant from Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere of Ansley Mall's Bantam & Biddy. Executive chef Scott Weaver of Chick-a-Biddy created a menu that includes fish tacos, flatbreads, grain bowls, and, of course, fried or wood-grilled chicken. 2) Rumormongering: Charcuterie shop the Spotted Trotter definitely has a restaurant in the works: They've been "putting together a business plan and trying to obtain financing to hopefully expand The Spotted Trotter and open up a small restaurant in 2014." Steady Hand Pour House in Emory Village is now closed. The coffee shop shuttered yesterday after being told that its lease would not be renewed. Next door Everybody's Pizza closed its doors last month, and their combined space will be turned into the Slice & Pint, a pizza joint and microbrewery coming soon from Crawford Moran of 5 Seasons Brewing.
