The name of this dark American hideaway in the The Graham Georgetown boutique hotel slyly references inventor Alexander Graham Bell while its snazzy revamped steampunk-inspired decor - exposed brass ceiling pipes with crystal decanter light fixtures, Victorian couches hugging an exposed-brick wall - also turns back the clocks. Its name suggests snappy service, or perhaps food cooked in a snap. Actually, it must mean that the eatery is so small that you can pass it by in a snap. In what might have once been someone’s diminutive front hallway in a Georgetown townhouse, a determined owner has squeezed in a refrigerator with canned sodas, one or two tables, a cash register, and a small cook-top with just enough space...
