I expected to get small town service from a local store, but did not and was very disappointed. I intend to shop elsewhere.

Do not shop at Solari & Huntington or work with them in any way! I brought in heirloom diamonds to have a custom engagement ring made and the end result was not at all what the jeweler, salesperson and I had talked about – it was clunky, gaudy and poorly crafted. They initially quoted me $800 - $1000 and when it was finally finished they said it cost $1400! Working with them was very stressful – I had to push for them to finish the ring and they often didn’t return my calls. I ended up having the ring re-made by a different jeweler (Bailey, Banks & Biddle – who did a fabulous job) and wish I had gone there in the first place.
