Mr. Sorrell's post on Kudzu:
On 01/03/2015, Mr. Sorrel posted a response to a negative review on Kudzu. That post provides some very important insight into his character. First, he revealed the homeowner's name and address. There was no legitimate reason for him to do that. It is very unprofessional. He then went on to disclose the fact that he built a secret “safe” room for the homeowner. So the room is no longer secret and, because he also described its exact location in the house, it is now it is much less safe.
I don’t know if what Mr. Sorrell did is illegal, but in my opinion it crossed a line that a more ethical contractor would not have crossed. It is an extraordinary breach of trust. Would you want your contractor to broadcast this type of information about you and your home on the Internet? I doubt it. As of this writing, Mr. Sorrell's post is still up on Kudzu.

Stay away from this builder:
Bryan is a very likeable guy, but all is not what it seems. Whether he is operating as Sorrell Remodeling and Construction, A1 Home Repairs Atlanta, UCCG, Sorrell Builders, Buckhead Custom Homes and Remodeling, Gwinnett Basement Company, or something else, I strongly recommend that you do not get involved with this builder. My initial impressions were very positive, but as the $100,000+ project evolved I learned the hard way that there are two sides to every coin. Although the quality of the work was not bad, other major issues arose that led to this two-thumbs-down review. Without going into details, my advice is to move onto the next builder/contractor on your list.
