Tips

On Park Slope’s rapidly swankifying southern fringes, hubby-wife duo Paul Molnar and Dee Byrd-Molnar have devised a seriously laid-back neighborhood saloon with a bright red ceiling, bare light bulbs and brick walls, high-backed booths and a sign warning cowboys to leave their firearms at the bar. The libations range from a half-dozen taps (Guinness, Sixpoint, Bud) to oodles of bourbons to a killer bloody mary fit for sanding the edge off a rough afternoon or eve. Feeling social? Play some board games. Antisocial? Pump quarters into Ms. Pac-Man.

Chill backyard, plus board games and Ms. Pac-Man for...
