Didn't even make it to the appointment:
I called to find out if any of the doctors in this practice perform a procedure I needed to have done. When I called initially, no one knew, but were going to ask. I then asked if they took my insurance (BCBS PPO, for the record), and was told that they are an out of network provider. When I stated that I wanted to hold off on making the appt, I was put on hold, and then passed over to the CEO, who basically strong-armed me into making an appointment. Today, I called to cancel. I got a call back from the CEO trying to get me to not cancel (out of network patient = more money in clinic pocket, he made that very clear the first time). When I made it obvious that I had made my decision, after being talked over and mansplained to, I stated that I had chosen a different neurosurgeon, and named him. I got a very derisive, "Oh, boy. Really? Well, good luck with that!" The lack of professionalism from the CEO (I assume, of business operations?) is enough to make me warn others away from the practice, regardless of the doctors.
