Was calling around looking for firewood to burn that evening for my daughter’s birthday party. Couldn't get through but woman called me back. We were looking for a truck bed load. She said that she had one rack available, but we would have to pick it up, no problem on our end! We then asked if the wood was seasoned, she replied that all of their wood was seasoned. I have a hard time believing it was because it would not catch, just sizzled and smoked. We tried about 15 different pieces of wood from the load and all the same results. I called them to let them know that this wood was not burning. I was upset because there was not going to be a fire for my daughter and her friends. I was explaining what the issue was to the woman and she implied that I didn't know how to start a fire. We have a bonfire at least 3 days a week, that was not the issue! After she continued to put blame on us even saying we never asked for seasoned wood, I repeated word for word the conversation. She then hung up on me and did not answer back, so I left a message that I would leave a review of the customer service that we received. 10 minutes later a man (JOHN) I believe called back. I explained everything again and he said that all of their wood is seasoned and maybe it picked up moisture. He also said that he would come by the next day and he would be able to get it to burn. Also insinuating that we could not start a fire! After being blamed instead of helped I hung up. All we were looking for was acknowledgement for the inconvenience and for them to take responsibility, which they did not!
The next day I called another place that offered seasoned and picked it up. It burned fine and when we added a few pieces from Stanch it still didn't burn! So, I guess it isn't us not being able to start fires but their wood!

Stanch's Tree Service did an amazing job taking down a very large dead tree from our backyard! It was important to us that our fence stay intact, so they were able to use their crane to reach over our house and remove the tree safely. They were extremely careful each step of the way, and cleaned up so well that it looks like they were never there. Everyone on the job was professional and friendly. I would very highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree removal. Thank you for doing such a great job!

Trees cut and removed. (I even tipped the crew ten bucks each) However, I was left with two 500+ lb pieces of tree trunk that John promised to cut into manageable pieces. They have not honored their promise and were very rude when I called about the matter. I would never use this arrogantly managed outfit again.
