This place looks like it was left over from the seventies. Perfect place to get cheap hippie grub after spending the day at the beach. Lots of options, but basically all the same food. Rice topped w veggies and guacamole. Several tamales to choose from. Fruity smoothies.
If an eatery can be called typically Laguna, this is it. Only organic vegan ingredients are used to prepare the salads, burritos with brown rice and hummus, pita sandwiches, and smoothies. There are about 20 outdoor seats where you can eat, read the newspaper, and maybe argue a point or two.
Vegetarian (mostly vegan) food of the old-school variety: no processed fake meats, just plenty of fruits, vegetables, and grains. Anything wrapped in a pita is popular here, as are the smoothies and sorbets. It's mostly outdoor seating at this ultra-casual cafe, or just bop across the street for a beach picnic.
