These people are dangerous!:
If I could rate this company in negative stars, I would.
I had my vehicle towed by Stan's to their lot this past weekend due to a documentation error with the BMV. When the car was towed, I asked specifically that my car be locked for security. The representative picking up my car said "fine."
Upon my arrival this morning to pick up my vehicle, I found that not only was my car not locked, the key was sitting on the driver's seat, for all intents and purposes saying, "Here I am! An easy target! Please steal me!"
I tried to address the concern with the man sitting behind the desk in the office, and he said that there was no way the person who picked up my car that weekend would have agreed to locking the car, and that all of the cars on the lot are unlocked and have the keys inside to make it easier for them to move the cars around.
When I asked what was to stop someone from stealing the cars, he said that they have the most secure system in all of Akron, probably even all of Summit County, because they have 3 Rottweilers and they are the only place around that pays for someone to be there 24/7 to keep an eye on things.
When I asked what was to stop me from just walking in the back through the open fence to get in my car and drive off, he stood up, slammed his hands on the desk, and screamed "ME!"
Another employee then chimed in saying "Go get the gun!"
The man at the desk said no, he wasn't going to get the gun, but what he would do is send me out back and let the dogs out, and if I could make it to my car before the dogs tore me to shreds, I could take my car.
Within a matter of five minutes of being in the office, I, a single girl in the office alone, was threatened by two different men working for this business. Their manner was beyond unprofessional and bordering on criminal.
Do not ever trust anything to this company!
