"Like the name says", steak frites is the main attraction at this Union Square French bistro, where the rest of the menu's considered "just ok" and priced a "bit on the high side"; when the "barn"-size room gets too "noisy", regulars sit outside for some prime people-watching.

Steak Frites Restaurant Review:
This bistro in Union Square serves all the classics. The signature entrecôte de Paris, a dry-aged Angus rib-eye, is tender and juicy enough to satiate any hardcore carnivore. The pan-seared sea scallops, cushioned atop a mint-accented lobster risotto, is a show-stealer---especially when complemented by sides like house-cut french fries.
