Editorial Reviews

Owner Yann's a pretentious try-hard, but sort of pulls it off. Since recently hiring Galician consultant Luis Bollo, everything's a little tighter, though the crowds have (mostly) yet to follow. Lounge and tapas scene. Spanish artisanal meat and cheese plus croquettes and chorizo. And there's salsa nights...and a moat.

Information from the business

Perhaps the most romantic dining room in New York. View Website A Romantic Dining Room! Monday Night Movies- 3 Courses Flamenco Sundays! FLAMENCO SUNDAYS AT SUBA Every Sunday, Suba presents some of NYC?s most accomplished Flamenco artists. La Conja, one of Flamencos most versatile artists, has a substantial reputation for her startling ability and fire as a dancer and singer. Charles Jurrist of the Daily News described her as a "mesmerizing singer and a demon dancer." While watching the artists, our guests will have the opportunity to sample Suba?s acclaimed Sangria, Spanish wine selection, tapas or dishes from Suba's full dinner menu. There is no cover for the show,$30 food min. per person. MONDAY NIGHT MOVIES at SUBA Join Suba every Monday night for a movie screening and three course dinner - $29 per person. Great idea for dates/groups of friends looking for good food and fun entertainment on dreary Mondays.
