Very Knowledgeable:
I called this company about a decline in one of my trees. I had also contacted a few other companies and they recommended immediate removal. Mr. Falcone was professional and a Certified Arborist - he told me that my tree was sick because of a landscape conversion which was done last year. He then explained that no work should be conducted at this time. I paid a reasonable consultation fee and he placed me on schedule for trimming when the weather is cooler. What impressed me most was his knowledge and concern for the long term health of my tree, rather than just trying to make a quick buck and move on.

Incomplete job and poor customer service‎:
called Jim Falcone (owner of Sunrise) to come remove a mesquite tree blown over by a wind storm. On the phone and in person he was very personable, engaging, and friendly at first. (Both my landlord and I are military and he praised our service saying he loves taking care of military families, but in the end he hung up on my landlord when he called Jim back to finish the work. Jim had also blocked my landlords number forcing him to call from an alternate number.) As time went by and when we did not buy a replacement tree, manacuring services, or a service contract from him he turned cold and rude. He sent his guy out to remove the stump and ONLY the stump (which was not covered in the tree removal cost??). However, large exposed roots were left. I called asking him to return and finish the job and he said that he did not want anything else to do with the property due to "communication problems" between myself and my landlord. It was actually the opposite as my landlord and I were always on the same sheet of music but Jim was trying to sell the same thing to each of us claiming the other wanted it. My landlord threatened to call the Better Business Bureau and Jim said to go ahead since he was not a member anyway. Jim said he prides himself in his work doing the job right, if this is pride in his work I can only imagine what a fully landscaped job might look like... Bottom line, do not use Sunrise Tree & Landscape.

Worst customer service I've ever been provided:
Sunrise Tree and Landscape, Inc. came highly recommended by a local nursery to remove a tree in my backyard that had blown over as a result of a strong windstorm. So, my tenant called Mr. Falcone for an expert opinion on what to do with the tree. His company removed the tree for a nominal fee and left the tree stump to be removed at a later date for another nominal fee. The tree was removed within a couple of days, the stump removal and planting of another tree (if that is what I wanted to do) was going to have to wait two or three weeks to schedule. Mr. Falcone wanted me to purchase a landscaping maintenance package as well for a monthly fee which I declined, that would be my tenants responsibility the if he wanted it. In the same conversation, I had decided on what type of tree to plant but I would get back to him for final conformation whether or not to plant the tree. After consulting my wife, WE decided not to plant another tree. His crew showed up that weekend and removed the tree stump. My tenant called Mr. Falcone to ask when the crew would be back to finish the job...there were still exposed tree roots, landscaping electrical cord and barrier plastic, and a small plant still leaning at a 30 degree angle. Not to mention mud all over the block wall behind where the tree used to be. He told my tenant "the job is complete, I don't want anything to do with you, your landlord or that property from here on out. Tell your landlord to pay the bill and that will be the end of it" When I called him, his phone was not accepting calls from my number so I had to reach him from another number. When he refused to make the job right, I told him I would contact the triple B about his customer service. He said "go ahead, I'm not a member anyway. It's people like you that have no friends" and hung up on me. Once I received the bill, I was charged a fee for travel time that was never contracted. I don't recommend Sunrise Tree & Landscape.
