Great little motel:
I was travelling through Clarkston on my way to Seattle looking for a place to spend the night when I saw this motel. It was the retro 60's look to the place that attracted my attention.
It has 60's style service too as I found out when I went to check in. The manager is attentive and listens to you, also if you want you can check out your room before you decide to stay. I haven't had service as good as this for quite a while and it was wonderful to feel so appreciated.
Now on to the rooms. Each room is it's own separate little cabin style apartment with a covered carport right next to it. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and have everything needed for a good stay. Like most places now their WIFI was free but I was surprised that even long distance phone calls are free too.
At $45 per night after my discount it was a bargain. I have paid more for much less in the past and the service I got was equal to if not better than places that cost twice as much. Trust me here as I travel quite a lot, the management here state that nothing is too much trouble and they live up to that promise.
Great place and great prices what more can you ask for. It's on my list for a return visit anytime I am in the area.

Great little motel:
I was a slightly dubious about staying at such a small motel but I needn't have worried. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, the gardens neat and tidy and most importantly the service excellent.
From the moment we went to check in we were made to feel welcomed and appreciated and the manager let us check out the room before we made any decisions. At no point did we feel pressurized into making a hasty decision.
For such a small place the facilities were surprising, covered carports right next to our room, WIFI, Cable TV, and local and long distance phone calls all free. Our room had a fridge and microwave too, the only thing missing was a coffee maker.
The room itself was very clean and the bed nice and comfortable which after all was the most important thing.
So we spent a pleasant night there and will stay there again whenever we are in the area.
