I lived in the parsonage:
From 1958 to 1963, my sister and I were foster children of Rev Lester Kearby, pastor of the church, and his wife Dorothy. It was known then as S.G. Pilgrim Holiness Church. My bedroom was upstairs, and cramped. The Kearbys had two children of their own, Deborah and Kevin. The congregation was very small, never more than a dozen or so. I have often wondered what became of some of my friends in the neighborhood. Linda and Susie Franklin, Jackie Quinlan, who I had a secret crush on, and my next door neighbor, Norma Fansler. I still think of them, even now. I am a writer and artist living in Encinitas, CA, and would appreciate hearing from anyone who is still around.
