Hide Nagano is the owner and chef of Sushi Banzai. Born and raised in Japan he trained under sushi chef's in Japan and has brought his skills to America. One of Hide's first jobs in America was at the first Yoshi's restaurant on Claremont Avenue in Oakland. He decided to open his own Japanese restaurant and in 1989 Sushi Banzai opened its doors.
