Authentic, owned/operated by native Japanese, friendly service, great value, decor is uninspired but food is good, I eat there often and I'm a Japanese Foodie, lived there for many years so I know.

Food is acceptable, but service is terrible. Our waiter brought a noodle dish, but I ordered shrimp tempura. When I explained very nicely that this not want I ordered, he went to speak with the manager/owner. She refused to give me the meal I ordered, saying insulting comments like, "You have no proof that you ordered tempura." Such stupid drama. We ultimately left without me eating, and when I mentioned this to friends, they've had terrible customer service there as well. I won't go back. I asked around, and lots of people prefer Jun's on State Line near 75th, where "the food is good, and the owners are happy to provide good customer service!"

Sushi Gin Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Bar has been in business since 1995. It is authentically locally owned and operated. We offer a wide variety of fresh sushi and classic Japanese dishes. Our Sushi Bar is an 'L' shape and will seat 13 people. In the dining area, included is a Tatami Room that seats from 2 to 18 people.
