I listened to the conversation my boyfriend at the time was having with the receptionist because whoever handles billing won't pick-up after several days. He has been on the phone for 30 minutes. She can't answer or explain things properly. Last year when he hired them and throughout the whole process he was having billing issues. They were not clear on how they bill you or on the time. He and his ex negotiated the whole separation agreement and the ex's atty is the one that drew the agreement. Swango did not. He waited for Swango to do something but really what they did was take the ex's patty's draft and revise it. NOT RECOMMENDED. They are really great about taking retainers and making them disappear. oh, yeah...maybe traffic. They take advantage of men caught up in ugly situation, but they are no help. Over $6k for he and his ex to do all the work. Couple years later we hired someone else to handle our custody case.

I'm not sure where all of the positive reviews are coming from, this is the single worst company I have ever dealt with. They took advantage of me in the most vulnerable time in my life, during a divorce. It's absolutely despicable. From what I can tell, the goal there is to capture a $5000 retainer, blow through that as quickly as possible, and then run the bill up a few thousand more. They did it so quickly, I never had a chance. You don't have to believe me, just go down to the courthouse and see how many poor people they do this to. Coincidence that all of their victims owe just about the same amount of money? I think not. Please don't be fooled as I was by this firm and run, don't walk, to somebody with integrity.

Reducing of charges is never an easy job.especially if you have to do it on your own.However,when you work with a qualified lawyer,things become different.I had been charged with assault.It was something that came from a minor confrontation when we were both high,but my buddy rushed to the police.What i heard was just heart-wrecking; I was charged with assault.In as much as it was a tough case in Virginia Beach,for swango Law P.C.,that was just boneless meat for them.Apart from the case being dismissed because of baseless accusations,we were both warned.Thanks to Swango Law P.C.
