HORRIBLE!!! This place DISCRIMINATES against people with PHYSICAL DISABILITIES! Absolutely APPALLING!!

My mother, who is physically handicapped having had a knee replacement and several back surgeries, is still able to walk. She is unable to carry shopping bags and such to her apartment, therefore she has a small wheeled cart to put things in when shopping.

She was on her way to grocery store and decided to stop in and look at kitchenware. She asked the store clerk if she could put her cart by the register. The lady PROMPTLY YELLED "NO." My mom brushed off her rudeness, looked around, and next went to a table of samples. The woman immediately yelled out "THOSE ARE NOT TO EAT. I WANT YOU AND THAT THING OUTTA HERE" amongst other things in front of a group of customers. My mom, who is very introverted by nature, in tears could only say "I'm HANDICAPPED!" and left.

WTF? Does she think my mom is homeless or something because she has a cart? My mom does dress well so I can't figure this out.

This is absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing. My mom called me CRYING! She should sue this place for DISCRIMINATION and MENTAL DISTRESS.

To the store clerk: My mom is a paying customer who has more money to spent than your 12 month salary at your petty part-time per-hour loser job. You should be immediately terminated. Even if my mom was homeless, who talks to people like that! You think your POO POO don't stink? Why don't you go volunteer at a homeless shelter or a group home for adults with disabilities and learn some MANNERS while your at it!
