Delicious dinner:
Great food... I had the pumpkin ravioli special, and she had the tuna tartare. Both wonderful. Service was great.

Great Meals, Good Prices:
Taste has a great selection of food and wine. It is not exactly one cuisine, but if I had to categorize it, I would say fusion. The last time I was there, I had macaroni and cheese with white truffle oil and a soba noodle and chili/honey glazed salmon filet with baby bok choi. The portions are large and affordably priced, but this is an accomplished restaurant. I have never had a problem walking up, so I don't think that reservations are a problem. There is an outdoor patio for dining and that seems to fill up first. Dessert and drinks were pretty good, too. It's good for dates or just a relaxing evening. No additude, either. Taste is reliable gem of a restaurant.

Occupying a space at the corner of Melrose Avenue, Taste on Melrose offers patrons a varied menu of American meals, with a modern twist to keep things interesting.
