Tips

Here's a swell spot to sample Washington wine from small producers. The skilled staff is stellar at making suggestions and there's a short list of wine-friendly foods to pair up with your flight, glass or bottle.

Looking for a taste of Washington’s top boutique wines? Look no further. The Tasting Room’s selections feature current releases along with a few library wines, all showcasing the handiwork of up-and-coming Washington winemakers too busy making wine to staff their own tasting rooms. Located in Pike Place Market, this cozy wine bar has the feel of a wine cellar and is cooperatively operated by several small Washington State wineries. You can taste the wines of Camaraderie Cellars, Harlequin Wine Cellars, Latitude 46° N Winery, Mountain Dome, Naches Heights Vineyards, Wilridge Winery, and Wineglass Cellars, or buy wine by the glass or bottle. Light snacks are also available.
