Zinfandel is always the focus at Terra d'Oro Winery, home of Montevina wines since 1970. But don't expect just a Zin house. Our friendly staff pours samples of many delicious wines from the Terra d'Oro and Montevina brands, including Italian varietals like Pinot Grigio, Sangiovese, and the perennial foothill favorite Barbera.

Winemaking is art, science, passion and a healthy dose of voodoo. Montevina started in 1970 in the Sierra foothills and released its first wines in 1973. Montevina quickly became well-known for our robust, full-flavored red wines, especially Zinfandel and Barbera, and proceeded to inspire a well-deserved revival of this region's historic wine industry.
