If the weather allows, snag one of the 60 seats in the rooftop sculpture garden, with sweeping views of Millennium Park. In the colder months, the intimate wine bar gives an up-close view of the kitchen.

The restaurant is open the public--paid admission to the museum isn't required. A four-course dinner ($55) is served only on Thursdays, when the museum is open late.

LOGAN SQUARE—Chef Jared Wentworth is launching an all-day Saturday and Sunday cafe menu (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) at the Longman & Eagle Offsite Bar that's "focused on portability," made up of four sandwiches and one quiche. Tony Mantuano's Terzo Piano, open for four years now, is deciding it's time for a menu revamp. Available now, the new menu adds more sections (small bites, Italian bar sandwiches, flatbread, pasta, antipasti), moves soups to a soup and salad section, and changes entrees to mains.

Located in the Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago, Terzo Piano is a must-stop for lunch and Thursday dinner. The food is all fresh, local, organic and sustainable. Outside you can dine al fresco on the covered piazza, while enjoying spectacular views of Millennium Park and Michigan Avenue.
