Earlier this year, for the first time, I interviewed several pet sitters for an upcoming vacation trip. Admittedly, I was a 'nervous Nellie' about leaving my dog with a sitter; but he does not do well in a kennel situation. After six phone interviews, I talked with Trish. She came over to the house, stayed longer than thirty minutes and I was very candid about my concerns. She was great with the dog! Every day during my trip, Trish emailed pictures of play time. By the end of the vacation, I was sure that my decision was the right one. Trish really cares about the pet; it's well being and takes great care to put you at ease. Now, I have another trip and an additional puppy in the mix and I have used her again and again. You can be assured that 7 Paws will take great care of your pet.

Obviously Ms. Jennifer the issue is not just with 7 Paws. You gave her not one but two bad checks and then you don't even take into consideration that TWO people are feeding your dogs, so naturally the food is not going to last as long. You know good and well that 7 Paws is an excellent service and you are being spiteful because you're p@!%!d off....not nice Ms. Jennifer. 7 Paws is an EXCELLENT pet sitting service and while I was in the hospital for 11 DAYS......11 DAYS Trish took care of my dogs......for 11 DAYS!!!!! She did not ask for anything extra in return for the additional services and had it not been for her I don't know what I would have done as my hospital stay was sudden and unexpected. 7 Paws Pet Sitter goes out of her way for ALL of her clients and I'm here to tell you as I'm sure all of her other clients will that she goes ABOVE AND BEYOND what is asked of her when it comes to your pets. As far as the fire Ms. Jennifer, I live in the same neighborhood and I was scared. She was "panicked" as you say for good reason and she was concerned enough to let you know of the situation. Yes she has her own pets to be concerned with but she was also concerned for your pets and had the sense to inform you of the situation. I highly recommend 7 Paws Pet Sitter for ALL your pet sitting needs.....again....she goes above and beyond and your pets come first.

Trish has been a wonderful pet sitter for our family. I have used her services recently on numerous occasions due to work travel. I've even begun to recommend her services to my neighbors whom are just as picky as we are. Keep up the good work!

We loved Ms. Trish last year (2010). She was nice and handled everything well, following directions with our dogs and cats at different intervals. 2011 has not been so good. We used her twice within the space of 3 weeks. During the first trip, she was okay, but I noticed a lot of the food had been used. During the second trip, we left very specific feeding instructions for the dogs. Still, she overfed my dogs to such a degree that she ran out of dog food, even though I'd left enough cans to last two days after my return. The biggest issue was that she clearly had a problem when a real crisis did occur and it made me feel concerned for the safety of my dogs. She contacted me in a panic to say that a fire was near my house. When i asked how near, she said it was in the next neighborhood over. I recommended she call my roommate at work but to also evacuate our animals if they were in any real danger. Her response was that she fed my dogs (3 hours early) and that she had her own dogs to worry about. It seemed very clear that she was incredibly panicked, did not know what to do in case of fire, and was very unprepared for any real problem that might arise while someone was away. Sadly, there was a problem with my check at the bank for this same trip. Rather than contact me civilly to arrange to get cash instead, she contacted me and my roommate (when I missed her call) to accuse me of writing a hot check and that she was going to file criminal charges. It was all very unnecessary and, of course, we were willing to pay what we owed and for any bank fee that occurred as a result. But the way she handled the situation further exemplified Ms. Trish's inability to handle any actual problems related to her business. I cannot recommend this pet sitter anymore. I would fear for my pet's safety.
