Description

By the end of the four- and eight-week boot camps each student knows if this acting thing is for real or just a passing fancy. The technique is practical and current, focusing on the tools needed to get...

They're Gerrrrate!:
They are great. I'm a fan. I learned things I did not know I did not know. Before I went there, I though acting was all about 'method" and all that. I have not had a traumatic life, so I had a hard tome with this, but with Meisner, I just need to listen and be in the moment, and with Michael Cheknov, I just have to get the emotion in my body and let go. If you do not know these two techniques, you should check out the acting corps.

What can I say?:
This school has a perfect review on here, I don't know what I can add except to say that everything they said is right! It's a great place, and I am glad they are getting a accolades they deserve. It's a Meisner based program, but they get right into it, unlike some other Meisner schools. They can't make you an expert overnight, but they shave off some time on the front end, which I think is a great idea.

I'm grateful for my great experience at The Acting Corps, and I'd like to thank the owner, Eugene, and his staff of awesome teachers for teaching with such expertise, passion, energy. They care and they want you to great!

Good Vibrations:
I really like to tune into the vibe of an acting school before I go there, and I liked the vibe of the acting corps when I dropped by to talk to the staff about maybe signing up. I like it, and the rest is history. I really developed a bond with the other students, and the teachers were cool too. Learned a lot.

Every day a new bright-eyed transplant lands at a LAX, hopeful, eager, determined to succeed. This person is an actor, starred in every school play, and was deemed “beautiful,” “talented,” and “extraordinary” for years. Now this person seeks out the crux of the craft, the proverbial foot in the door, by enrolling in a Los Angeles acting class. Does this scenario sound familiar? Remind you a...
