In the Alley entertainment complex, The Estate offers guest DJs spinning house and dance for amped-up patrons, occasional live acts, belly dancers, and blinks at celebrities. Suite Boston, the in-house "subterranean den," hosts special events such as fashion shows and parties with guest DJs.

Several watering holes, packed into one cozy cul-de-sac opposite Boston Common, serve Emerson students, theater-goers, and those wanting late-night action without crisscrossing the city.

Off of Wabasso Beach Road, the 64 acres here are almost compeletly surrounded by water. In addition to a 600-foot boardwalk through the mangrove shoreline and a 1-mile canoe trail, there are aquariums filled with Indian River creatures.
