We are a group of students that feel that have been completely ripped off from the Art Institute and something must be done to make things right legally or otherwise something from the government.

I have the same complaint as others. They push you through their courses, teach you nothing useful, and charge you for it. I wanted to get a degree in graphic design using Flash. They said that'd be no problem, and a curriculum would be setup. What did I get? Irrelevant courses. I talked to my student adviser and she replied, "Well that's what we offer." Great. I dropped out early to avoid a high bill, because I saw that this 'degree' wasn't going to earn me anything.

I would give negative stars if I could! I graduated from AIP with a 3.6 and a BS in Multimedia. I went because I wanted to learn flash. about 90% of all class time is dedicated to "work shop" time and there is almost NO lecture. The instructors push students through the system, so they don't learn ANYTHING. I have accumulated over 90k in student loans and nobody will hire me because I lack the proper skillset. Furthermore, employers cant believe I was able to get a BS with such little competency . Career services is a joke. The only students they find jobs for are those who came into the school with previous experience. AIP has RUINED my life. Once they push a student through their ridiculous curriculum and get their $$, they drop them like the plague. Thank you, school for profit!
