Broken glass outdoors / smell of room:
Beautiful place to stay, however, the suite smelled muggy and a really old ionizer was brought to the room that made too much noise. The mattress was hard. I expected a feathertop for the bed. I called the front desk and they did promptly bring one. The amenities were not always replaced daily. One evening, I noticed broken glass on the ground in a part of the hotel outdoors and had called the front desk to have housekeeping or maintenance sweep the glass, and noone ever came and picked up the glass during our stay. How can someone not follow through on something like that, with a lot of people walking around possible bare footed coming in from the pool or beach? The suite was over priced for not having the amenities one would expect. Too bad the Ritz Carlton wasn't open... I would have rather gone back there.

Executive Chef Tylun Pang adds modern, innovative twists to the...

Each is a two-story structure with a private plunge pool, two (or three) large bedrooms, a...

Ko Restaurant Review:
The signature restaurant of The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui, looks to Hawaii’s sugarcane plantation era for its culinary inspiration. Executive chef Tylun Pang sources local ingredients to create dishes based on generations-old family recipes that have been given a modern twist. Among items on the multi-cultural menu is the crispy calamari paired with a ko choo jang aïoli. Design touches continue...
