A 28-acre ornamental public garden founded as a new cultural center devoted to the preservation of nature, sustainability and preservation. Greenwood offers a variety of programs including horticulture seminars, bird walks, garden painting and photography workshops and outdoor yoga classes.
Greenwood Gardens is a contemporary garden rooted in the Arts & Crafts and Classical approaches to garden design, with Italianate garden terraces, grottos, meandering moss-covered paths, allees of sycamore and spruce, ornamental trees and shrubs, and wildflower meadows occupying over 28 acres.
