The Growers Pub

The prime rib was the best I've had and was cooked "bloody" (rare) the way I liked it. I ordered the large cut and had to take a quarter of it home.
For lunch I had the hamburger, and it is also the best in town (1/2) pound and cooked the way I wanted it. I like juicy but not greasy burgers and this one was perfect. The fries were crisp and thin. I cannot recommend the Growers Pub highly enough. It's the best restaurant in Salinas. Reservations highly recommended.

Fantastic. Service was very good. The Prime Rib was some of the best I've ever eaten. This restaurant is a very welcome addition to Salinas and Old town. Thanks to the Drew's and their fine staff for an extremely pleasant experience. We will definatly be back. I must try some of the other items on the menu. If you haven't been here yet, I would highly recommend it. You won't be dissappointed.
