Cruelty to animals !!!!:
FALSE ADVERTISING!!! SNEAKY BEHIND YOUR BACK BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!! OVER-CHARGED!!!!

Whatever you do, DON'T LEAVE YOUR PETS HERE !!!

We left our two cats at the Kennel Club LAX for 14 days over Christmas 2008. Upon making a reservation and paying the hold fee for TWO spaces, the cats were left in a room with natural light, ventilation, and each had their own space (cage). This is just a front until you leave!

When the cats were picked up, they had been relocated to a DARK, locked, BATHROOM!!! that was IN USE by the humans running the facility. There was NO NATURAL LIGHT, NO NATURAL VENTILATION, and both cats had been put into one cramped smaller cage.

The employee looking for my cats (when they were not in the cages where we left them when we dropped them off) attempted to hide the fact that they were put in a bathroom by misdirecting me to other areas of the kennel. It was not until another employee came out of a different bathroom that I realized my cats had been placed in the one that was IN USE!!!

The Kennel Club charged the full price for boarding for two cats in two cages for the entire duration of the stay and is rude, ignorant, and unsympathetic to our concerns.

It is disgusting, unsanitary, are cruelty to animals to place them in such conditions!

Additionally, one of our cats lost almost two pounds during the stay. She only weighed 10 to begin with! Our other cat was so dirty, we had to give him bath and flea treatment as soon as we got home.

Final Word. We will NEVER go back and we will continue to advocate against this very poorly managed institution. When people must put their beloved pets in a kennel for any period of time, it is expected that they will be treated with care, not neglected as we have found. I pity the other animals left there as we removed our cats from the facility... and by the way, there were other cats in other bathrooms as well...

good boarding place:
We've boarded our dog here several times in the past couple of years and it's been great. The webcam seems to be permanently down, but the staff is just great. They wash blankets and bedding daily, have plenty of packages for everything from ice cream happy hour to pool time, and our dog seems to be happy to go back there.
