The Mercantile also doubles as a take-out shop and sells a small selection of imported pastas, olive oils, wines and pastries. Our favorite to-go items are the homemade ice cream and the numerous imported cheese behind the glass--everything from creamy Vermont Weybridge to a variety of French goodies for you to try before you buy.

Gourmet marketplace/wine bar The Mercantile offers haute sandwiches such as smoked trout with horseradish aïoli and golden beets, as well as prepared salads, pastries, ice creams and imported specialty foods. The wine bar features selections by the glass or bottle from a list of 100 options. Small plates range from French onion soup to house-made foie gras terrine and charcuterie.
