The line for breakfast can get long. If your patience wears thin, walk around the corner to the Original Pantry Bakery. You'll be seated fast, and it serves the exact same food.

Owned by former Los Angeles mayor Richard Riordan, this Downtown diner has been serving huge portions of comfort food round-the-clock for more than 60 years; in fact, they don't even have a key to the front door (there's no lock!).
