The Peasant & The Pear Restaurant Review:
Dining at The Peasant & The Pear is evocative of the Mediterranean --- by way of comfort food. Relax while supping on macaroni and cheese, roasted bone marrow, risotto, flatbread pizza, Chianti-braised lamb shank and other indulgences in the restaurant's inviting interior. Menus are seasonal. Weekday happy hours feature discounted well drinks, cocktails and wine.

The dining at The Peasant & The Pear is evocative of the Mediterranean. You'll enjoy relaxing while you dine in this warm interior. The menu, which changes seasonally, brings you the best of California and Mediterranean cooking.

Discover downtown Danville's hidden gem! The Peasant & The Pear, located along a brick pathway behind the Danville Clock Tower, owes its name to its rustic California & Mediterranean cuisine, and to its location in the agricultural region that once housed the world's largest pear orchard.
