Parking near Quincy Market can be a nightmare. Fortunately, the bar validates ($6, after 5pm) at the 75 State Street garage.

Across the street from Faneuil Hall Marketplace, this enormous space is nominally an upscale pool hall (with 22 tournament-size tables), but it's far better known as a hot nightspot. You can order food from 11am to 1am and maybe do a little stargazing -- pro athletes turn up periodically. In good weather, the action spills onto the patio.
