I should of know right away that something was UP with this place. I have never had someone be more unaccommodating when making a CUSTOM cake. We were railroaded into getting a "vegan" cake (just because we didn't want butter cream Icing... that's it, that was the one constraint). What we ended up with was a cake that COLLAPSED and CRACKED, was OILY and TASTLESS, and finally had this mousse inside that tasted like it was SPOILED. I shrugged it off (even though it was an expensive cake) and ate around the rest mousse part. Well I wish I would have listened to my mouth, two days later I was still not feeling well.

I wish I could blame it on the whole "Vegan" thing if it wasn't for the fact I had several savory Vegan treats from Bleeding Heart Bakery in the past.

Worst part is we brought it to Naomi's attention and all she did was insult us and absolve herself of all responsibility. Unbelievable! Do yourself a favor Chicago and pass this place up!
