If you don't eat eggs, milk, meat, etc., feel free to make substitutions--the staff is helpful and flexible.

If you don't mind long lines, big crowds, and screaming kids, this trendy little restaurant serves some of the best food around for pretty reasonable prices! A wonderful place to catch a late breakfast!

Toast has really great food, so there are always a lot of people there. They have a good selection of coffee, muffins, egg dishes, etc.in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a great place to take in a relaxing breakfast.

The only problem is that on a Saturday or Sunday morning, when you really want to enjoy that relaxed atmosphere with a coffee and a paper, you'll have trouble parking on 3rd street and then have to wait on line for a while before you can get in because the place is always mobbed because it's so good. Toast has a lot of babies and families with strollers, particularly on the weekend. It's a more quiete on weekdays. If you're going on the weekend, try to get there by 8:30.

Some people come to Toast just for the baked goods, which include addictive cookies, apple pie and coffee cake that make lingering over a cappuccino an honorable indulgence.
