The bar sits inside a mini-mall that has precious few (paid) spaces, so arrive early or try your luck at a meter on Cahuenga (they are free, but scarce, at night).

Todai is a sushi lover's paradise, and the one in Studio City is a step above the average in this fairly large national chain.

Imagine having access to just about every type of sushi you can think of in a huge cafeteria style food line, with the ability to go down that line as many times as you like and eat as much as you like. Then throw in dinner specials like sashimi, crab legs, shrimp cocktail, oysters, a massive salad bar, a whole select of cooked items like tempura veggies and teriyaki chicken, even a made-to-order crepe station for deserts.

Wait service is available to keep your table clear of used plates - which you'll need if you are like me - and keep your drinks filled up. For those that want a little kick with their sushi, they have full selections of hot and cold Sake and Japanese beers, too.
