My Tire came off while I was driving.....:
I’m not one to post good or bad reviews online, but being that my son’s life was put at risk I feel that more empowered to do so. My husband took my car to Total Performance on Sept 12, 2014 for an oil change and tire rotation. Two weeks later on Monday Sept 29, my car was making a loud, aggressive sound, and my steering wheel was shaking. The following day on Sept 30th I went to my son school to pick him up and on our way home the sound and vibration got 100 times worse. As I was driving I heard a “Pop!” There was a noise and an impact. The front left tire rolled down the street , while I was left to control my car. As scary as this was, I’ll I could think at that moment was, I need to control this car before something unpredictable happens. I was able to come to a complete stop approximately 30 yards down the road. I drove on the rotor until I came to a stop. One of the steel rods was broken in half. My Tire some how made it into the swamp, and the lug nuts were gone. The following day I went to Total Performance to talk to Shannon about what had happened the day before. The only explanation Shannon could give me was “ some one is doing you wrong, someone is out to get you”. I didn't go there expecting Shannon to admit fault ( even though all evidence is there ) and it wasn't my attention to blame fingers, all I wanted was a legitimate explanation on how this could have happen. I figured I had all the more reason to go to him, considering my tires were rotated 2 weeks ago at his shop. His only explanation was that someone was out to get me, and this “so call person” removed the lug nuts on my tire. On October 6, my husband went to Total Performance to talk to Shannon and 5 minutes into the conversation the police arrived. All Shannon can tell my husband was the same thing he told me, and that we just have bad luck. My husband was in his car talking on his phone before he came out to talk to Shannon. Shannon spotted him and called the police to arrive before he had a chance to hear what he had to say. My husband did not threaten him nor insult him, he wanted an explanation. Shannon had the police escort him off. What ever happened to the customer is always right? What ever happened to being human beings? To doing what's right? Humanity doesn’t seem to exist any more, the more this world grows, the less room there is for ethic & integrity. For God sake a child life was at risk!! Show some sympathy!! I learned that God works in mysterious ways, and what happened on Sept 30th taught me that everything happens for a reason. With that being said, I’m a firm believer of Karma, what goes around comes around, and when that time comes that customer sadly won’t be as fortunate as me and my son. And that's when Karma will visit Shannon at his door step. Knock knock.
