Dishonest - misleading - a very bad experience:
Do not do business with Town North Mazda. They make misleading price quotes, fail to back up their promises, and use dishonest tactics to upsell you.
A salesperson quoted me his "best internet price" via phone on a CX-9 and told me to come to the dealership. When made it clear I wasn't coming in until I had arrived at a firm price on a vehicle they had in stock, he stopped returning calls and didn’t respond to my emails. My guess was they don’t want buyers who do their homework. They want to get people on the lot so they can upsell them.
A few days later got a call from a sales manager at Town North who said he was following up on sales leads from Mazda’s main site (not the dealer site). He didn’t know I already had been talking to someone else at Town North – or so he said. When I told him I already had a quote from them, he told me that vehicle was “no longer available” – he said it may have been sold, he wasn’t sure. When I told him what I had been quoted he said he could not sell me a car for that price and tried to start haggling with me again. I told him I’d be working with another dealer.
A week later I got a call from a third person at Town North who promised to be more responsive. I should have trusted my gut and hung up, but I started working with him on price. I didn’t get the color or price I wanted, but finally arrived at an acceptable deal. I gave them my credit card number, to which they charged $500 to hold the vehicle. Because of work, I couldn’t come in immediately to pick up the car. They said I could come it was fine to come in 3 days later.
I called on the agreed upon day to make sure the car was ready and was told the guy I was working with was no longer there. Not only that, they didn’t know who I was or anything about the deal I made. Yes, the car was still on the lot, but they didn’t know it had been sold. They said they’d be happy to sell it to me for $1000 more than the price they previously agreed on.
Town North Mazda was dishonest about pricing, made a deal they would not back up, charged my credit card to hold a vehicle, then tried to raise the price at the last minute. Don’t do business with them.

Living hell!:
I dont suggest purchasing a vehicle from this dealership! It is terrible that I have forced myself to waste five minutes of my time just to research a place were I could write about my horrible expeirience hoping to save someone from buying a car from that place! I have owned my mazda rx8 for about seven months and so far my engine makes a terrible rattle noise which causes the entire car to shake. My brakes squeak and my warranty doesn't cover a thing.
